Fight the anguish of flesh manifest I can see veins of metal, how they infest Every single little pore, but I need more, Mechanical marvel I’ve become. Look, look, and see the strings And how they chain me to this bed Of nails without any regrets, For the needle helps me forget. Stripped of the anguish of flesh manifest, With wondrous veins of metal, truly I’m blessed But I need more, the wondrous little mechanical whore Always craves more Stopping one day, I see myself in a mirror, no more filters Without the lens, and with all the chrome; the filthiest wretch, a stranger Sprawled on all fours, stripped bare and primal desire flares. Repent, repent, slave, waste, wasting away Pathetic mechanical animal In the anguish of stripped flesh My rusted carcass No blood, no veins, no heart The horrifying realisation hits home I died alone, an alter ego.
